Kanak Chaitya (Moo Chiva):

The Kanak Chaitya is undoubtedly the most mysterious and the most underrated holy object inside Janabahā. Some experts claim it to be at least 2,000 years old chiva.

A silver housing is worn to the Moo Chiva Dyo on the eighth day of the lunar calendar (Ashtami), the full moon day (Punchi/Purnima) and the first day of the month as per the solar calendar (Sanlhu/Sankranti).

This housing had been donated by Mahabir Rajkarnikar & his fifth generation descendant families still perform an elaborate ritual worship called Saptabidhanottar Puja, once a year in memory of their ancestor’s religious deed.
