Luu jhya (Golden window)
A golden window made of gilded copper, decorated with beautiful repousse art is present facing east under the top roof of the Janabahā temple. The tympanum above the window flaunted a gilded image of Amitabha Buddha, to whose clan Lokeshwor belongs.
A die-cast gilded image of Amoghapasa Lokeshwor adorned the opening with the Buddhist mantra Om Mani Padme Hum, given by Khadkshari Lokeshwor, placed above it in Ranjana script..
At the top is the gilded Kirtimukha, a common iconographic element found in much of Asia denoting the “face of glory”.
